Q: I just bought a new computer. How do I access my Carbonite account that was with my prior computer to use on this one?
A: First, you need to log in to your account via the Carbonite website. If you can't remember your password, Carbonite will help you recover it. Once logged in you'll find an area in the account section that allows you to transfer or restore your Carbonite account to a new computer. You probably want to choose the restore option as it will put your old files on your new computer. You will then be guided through the process.
